One wonders what some of the early church padres would say about ..contemporary catholics. Not just say...the abuse scandals, but ...the Antonio Scalia or Roody Giuliani catholic. Which is to say , if Scalia represents La Iglesia, some of us respectfully (or not so...) return the ticket
