Note Kirby O's recent praise of one.. .Roger Scruton, a philosopher of sorts. Are you hip to Herr Scruton's writing, jh?? He's an arch-rightist Tory, a lover of Wagner and Hegel, and all things germanic. He supported Bush and Blair's war, and conservative economics across the board.
Really Scruton's quite eloquent and rational for a nazi, but about as christian as say Heinrich Himmler (most likely one of his real heroes). This is one of the Olsonator's role models....

American right-wingers (even at KO level) are, I contend, not really rightists, in a Hegelian/European sense (or as say Scruton is).
They are more akin to quasi-monarchists. Their heroes are not even the nazis (or blackshirts, aka Pound's quasi-Aristotelian dream) , but Jefferson Davis, or british royals, or...maybe Brigham Young. Not that they are royals, but they dream of it--like being King Brigham, with their own state of Deseret, a few dozen mormon concubines, and all the Lamanites in prisons or.... disappeared.
